User flow

Step 1 – Connect your wallet

To start using Base Incinerator, connect a wallet that supports the Base network, the connection is handled via the Wallet Connect provider.

Once connected, the interface detects assets held by your wallet that are compatible with the platform.

Step 2 – Select an asset to burn

Users can choose an asset in two ways:

  • Select from the automatically detected assets in the wallet

  • Use manual input to import a specific token or NFT contract address

Supported assets include:

  • ERC20 tokens

  • ERC721 NFTs

  • ERC1155 tokens

Step 3 – Approve the asset

Before burning, the user must approve the Base Incinerator smart contract to transfer the selected asset.

This approval is required by the token standard and is limited to the burn operation.

Step 4 – Confirm the burn transaction

Once approved, the user can confirm the burn transaction.

The asset is transferred to the smart contract itself and permanently removed from the user's wallet.

Step 5 – Collect MAGMA points

After a successful burn, the user receives MAGMA points.

The points are tracked through the platform infrastructure and reflected in the user’s MAGMA profile.
